Hi Everyone! I'm starting a new blog to talk about life with my husband and four cats! Let me give you a little background.
I met my husband in 1999. We got engaged in 2007. We got married in 2011. To say it took some teeth pulling is an understatement! Don't get me wrong, my husband loves me and has always said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, but he had a phobia about getting married. I finally broke him down enough that he gave in! LOL I have that kind of charm.
Here we are - cute as a bug. The wedding was amazing and to say we are in our honeymoon stage is an understatement. Although my husband does have his own "room" that he can go to for solitude, LOL we generally spend 24/7 together now! The hardest part about getting married was getting him to move out of mom's. I think he still has moments of nostalgia ... at least 6 to 7 hours a day! LOL
So we are enjoying married life.
So it's me and Jim and our four babies. Eenie, Meenie, Miney & Moe! They are all little baby boys. Well actually Eenie & Meenie are slightly older than Miney & Moe! (By two years). Although we got them 2 years apart they all love each other so much. They snuggle together every night and sleep. It is the most adorable thing you have ever seen. I watch them run around and play and it melts my heart. If you are not a cat person - you don't know what you are missing!!!
This is my Eenie Bean. He was my first cat. Got him in October of 2009. He is such a little love! He will snuggle with me and keep me warm. It's quite funny watching him play with the babies. Today he was sitting in the hall way staring at the cat cube (it is a tent like cube that has holes in it and the kittens Miney & Moe love it) ... anyway he was staring at it then he took off down the hall and he jumped through the cat cube. I can only imagine what he was saying "See ... I still got it!" LOL Cute baby.
Here is Meenie! He is an adorable black kitty. He loves to snuggle with me and keep me warm as well. Meenie is what we call a little princess. He has the best coat of fur and his tail is so fluffy!! Meenie I believe is working in cahoots with the other cats. Every time I give treats out to the babies Meenie is MIA! He stays hidden until I get done giving out the treats and then about 5 mins later he comes out. He looks at me like "Where are mine Mom?" ... and of course with this adorable face how can you say no? So I give him treats which then of course the other babies are like "Umm hello?" LOL so I'm pretty sure that Meenie is hiding out so that the other cats get extra treats!
Here is the baby boy Miney. He is such a beautiful little boy! Although he is getting so much bigger now! He was born on August 5 so he is going to be 6 months old soon! He has totally grown into his own little personality and is a love bug. He loves to follow me around and hangs out with me! I love watching Miney and Moe play and wrestle. They are so cute!
And here is Moe! He's black and white and so so cute! When I first met Moe he was a loner. He played with is brothers and sisters, but he spent a lot of time trying to avoid humans. Since he's been home with my husband and I he has become a little snuggle bug and loves sleeping with my husband. They have bonded so much that it's a little annoying LOL I get jealous because Moe just loves his daddy! It is so cute!!
So now you have met us all. Daily life with a new husband and four cats is definitely interesting. I love having them all in my life. It is a lot of testosterone though LOL but being the mommy of the group is wonderful. I remember going to a psychic once and she told me that I was going to have 4 children, all boys. I guess she was right. I have my husband and my babies and life is great!
Adios!
